Washington/Alaska State Ferry Systems	We have an ongoing project with the Washington State Ferry system. We are bulding the cylinders used to raise and lower the ferrys loading ramp. First, we working closely with the implementation for the design of the cylinders with Washington State and outside consulting engineers and provided key insights into this design. We sucessfully built cylinders that are durable and with stand the harsh outdoor marine environment of the Pacific oceans and inlets. They are currently functioning extremely well of ferries located in Bainbridge and Anacortas, Washington, and Cordova, Alaska.
Cement Handling	The cement handling cylinders we built are used on a large crane for bulk handling of cement. These cylinders must perform well in the harsh marine and dusty environment. Most importantly the cylinders had to utilized smooth and precise control for the vacuum system used to unload the cement from the ship.
Seirra Pacific - Mount Vernon Sawmill	Seirra Pacific is taking a leadership role in wood products by building a new saw mill near Mount Vernon, Washington. They turned to Purakal Cylinders with a rush order for 48 - 6" Bore x 93" stroke hydraulic cylinders, 2 - 3" bore x 10" stroke hydraulic cylinders and 1 2.5" bore x 17" stroke hydraulic cylinder to be used on a variety of their new sawmill equipment. The rushed order was placed at the beginning of April 2006 and the cylinders were shipped by the end of the month.
