Purakal Cylinders are being used in the primary breakdown and secondary manufacturing in the saw mill industry. We have manfactured cylinders for lathe chargers, end doggers, edgers, shippers, stakers, position scanning, and other custom applications. We strive to meet the dynamic and durable requirements of our customers in the saw mill industry.

Purakal Cylinders has done some innovated work in the Marine Industry. One of our projects include cylinders for a split barge. NOAA has us build a payout cylinder for a dropped buoy that performed temperation and seismic ocianic testing.

We are proud of our work with the Army, Navy and Corps of Engineers in various projects. Our recent Navy project was building cylinders for the new Navy Sealion stealth boats. We are currently working on some foreign naval applications.

We have provided cylinders to be used on a variety of test trainers. We have also provided cylinders to Boeing for their machine tools fixtures.

Purakal Cylinders perform work in several agriculture areas. Steffen Systems, OR-Pac, and Oregon Hay Agricultural Services use our cylinders in extreme hay pressing applications. These cylinders function well on this demanding application, overcoming bounce back and side loading from the uneven pressing that occurs.

Purakal Cylinders have been used in a wide variety of foundry applications including titanium and aluminum processing. We have built long stroke telescopic cylinders for the leaders of the industry.

We create and repair extremely close tolerance cylinders for wafer polishing equipment created by Novellis Systems. These cylinders are part of wafer polishing machines used by INTEL, LSI, and Wafertech to create highly polished wafers. The wafers are used to build computer CPU chips.

Purakal Cylinders is active in producing cylinders for machine tool applications. We have built high pressure clamping cylinders, cylinders for pipe bending equipment, and numerious other cylinders for the industry.

Purakal Cylinders understands the rugged requirements in this industry. We have supplied cylinders for stroke delimbers, harvesting heads, and grinders. These rugged cylinders have performed extremely well in this challenging environment.
